Peak Alarm has received multiple reports that un-licensed door to door security sales representatives have been falsely representing themselves and using deceptive tactics to get you to switch your security service.

Choosing a reputable company is vital as they will be trusted with your personal safety and security. Do not be rushed into signing something that you may regret for the remainder of the contract. Take the time to research the company that you are choosing. Ask about their company, ask for their business card, their installation practices, and if they will wait for you to think about the purchase; especially if they knock on your door and rush you into signing right away. A great place to check on the business practices of a company is the Better Business Bureau (http://www.bbb.org/us/).

Reputable Companies will be patient with you, work on getting you a system that you’re proud to own and will be happy to use every day to protect your home, possessions and most importantly; your Family!
